This matter, we of course we plan for the MBA, provides not a development of leadership skills (as we all think) but through an analysis of group and individual trying to improve the work, the behaviors and attitudes of a person in a group setting. I would appreciated. In a course like mine is very important to realize what are the weaknesses of each and what possible steps to reduce distortions in attitude within a group dynamic can create serious problems.
From my personal analysis, among the many values \u200b\u200b(22 skills), my weak points were: Flexible Judgement, Coping and Active listening. The first relates to happen to accept the ideas of people from different backgrounds and cultural realities without anchor to their own, the second refers to the influence of pressure and stress have on a subject, and the third is active listening. These are the points on which I work because they are highlighted deficiencies. Will invest a little time coping with the above because that's what, at least in my case, manifests itself physically and gives me more problems, while the other two may act directly in the dynamics of the work of my group, they are already trying to apply them.
The next step will be to create a personal plan to organize my future steps based on what are my expectations. We are waiting and see what happens.
Meanwhile, out there, and the other between classes, meetings with colleagues. Not since the days of Erasmus who did not go out with a group together small and large people toghether with a single objective and not dependent on a number of different commitments. We are all in the same boat, we are all strangers in a strange land (more or less) and all away from home. For next year, our families will be boys MBA XXI, there will be much to do but now I'm so happy.
After three weeks I can say that the harmony is already high, even after all we spend 10/12 hours a day together ... but Big Brother does it better than us ...
